2024 Scholarships

The Fuerst Scholarship was established in 1996 thanks to a generous donation from the estate of Ruby Fuerst to the Novi Community Schools.  The Novi Board of Education, showing its support for the NEF, entrusted the management of the Fuerst funds to the NEF.

Any Novi Community School District Graduate, regardless of age, pursuing their first undergraduate degree from an accredited community college, college, university, technical, or vocational school is eligible for a Fuerst scholarship.  Prior recipients can receive the 
scholarship up to two times, but will need to complete the full application process again. The decision for scholarship recipients will be based on need, application information, and interview. 
 

Current students should complete the application via Schoology. Other residents still pursuing their post-secondary education should download and complete the application below and submit the following required additional information: 

 

Requirements:

• Local Scholarship Application

• Two letters of recommendation

• High School Transcript

• FAFSA including the Student Aid Report (SAR) showing expected family contribution (EFC)

• IRS Form 1040
